Sandwell Consortium CIC is seeking a new Chief Executive
Salary £40,000 – £45,000 (37hrs a week)
We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and inspirational leader to continue our successful journey of growth and development.
Working across Sandwell and the wider Black Country, Sandwell Consortium manages a mix of community services – advice and advocacy, employment support, community health & healthy lifestyles, financial inclusion and community development to some of the most deprived and disadvantaged communities in the UK.
We deliver predominantly through our ten member organisations and wider delivery partners, and through our directly employed advice workers and community outreach team.
We are an established organisation formed 10 years ago uniquely owned & controlled by its members but have grown quickly to a turnover close to a million pounds and employ 11 staff.
This however is just the beginning of the story.
You will bring experience of strategic leadership and multiple and complex stakeholder relationships at a senior level, financial acumen, knowledge of managing contracts and grants from multiple funders ideally including European funding and a proven track record of securing funding to ensure the medium and long term sustainability of the Consortium.
These qualities will be matched by your commitment and passion to make a real difference to the way we deliver services and improve outcomes for the people and communities we work with.
